A few studies perhaps worth mentioning are: the Queen Dowager (Adelaide); The Volcano of Kirauea, Sandwich Islands (the steel engraving dated 1845); a fine engraving of Captain James Cook (engraved by 'W. Holl.' from a painting by N. Dance Esqu., R.A.) An ownership signature on each title-page (in two cases partly erased) and repeated elsewhere.
